Long-term recruiting volunteers for the English group of Boshan Zhengjue Monastery

    为了让更多的人了解佛教，学习佛陀的智慧与慈悲，博山正觉寺成立了英文组，开通英文公众号和网站、Facebook、YouTube，并完成了《<大方广佛华严经?普贤菩萨行愿品>修持仪轨》《素食与健康》《无敌天下的妙法》《当下的力量》等书籍的翻译。为了适应工作要求，正觉寺英文组需要更多的人才加入到翻译队伍中来。
In order to let more people know the Buddhism and learn the wisdom and compassion of the Buddha, Boshan Zhengjue Monastery has set up an English group, opened the Wechat public accounts, website, Facebook and YouTube. Besides, the English group has completed the translation of books such as The Avatamsaka Sutra - Rituals of the Universal Worthy’s Conduct and Vows, Vegetarian Diet and Health, The Unrivalled Wonderful Dharma, The Power of the Present Moment, etc. In order to meet the job requirements, the English group needs more talents to join our translation team.

招聘岗位：英文编辑 、翻译

工作内容：寺院公告与新闻、法师开示、禅茶艺术、佛学书籍等中英文翻译及校对，以及英文编辑、口译和视频解说等。
Positions: English editor, Translator Job Content: Translation and proofreading of announcements and news of the monastery, Master's Dharma talk, the art of Chan tea and Buddhist books; editing English articles; English interpreting, recording Video commentary, etc.

岗位要求： 1、具有较强的中英文理解和表达能力，有一定佛学基础和素养。 2、笔译人员在家工作即可，工作量和工作时间可根据义工个人情况调整。 3、有外宾来访或国外演出时需要口语翻译发心陪同。 4、口语优秀者可参与录制英文有声书和视频英文解说词。
JobRequirements: 1. Strong writing and translation capability in both Chinese and English with a certain foundation of the Buddhist knowledge. 2. Translators can work at home; Workload and working hours can be adjusted according to the volunteer's requirement. 3. When there are foreign visitors coming to the monastery or we have performances abroad. Voluntary interpreters are needed. 4. If you are excellent in oral English, you can participate in recording English audio books and English commentary of video.
